Lunch and dinner at the New Orleans feature Creole and Cajun food. Live music nightly highlights America's musical heritage of jazz standards, blues, zydeco, and Dixieland. Local, regional, and national musicians create a lively, upbeat atmosphere in this Pioneer Square landmark. You can be comfortable in black tie or t-shirt and sandals.

We walked through Pioneer Square and went to New Orleans Restaurant. The service was a little shoddy, but that may have been because we sat in the bar, and it was right after a Mariner's game, so everyone packed in all at once. I ordered seafood gumbo and got chicken, but it was still really good chicken gumbo, and it was too busy and I was too hungry to send it back.
I would go there again, and hopefully try the seafood gumbo.
They also had a live New Orleans's style jazz band playing, which was really cool.

New Orleans Creole Restaurant really takes you back to the Dirty Dirty with authentic jambalaya, gumbo, po' boys, and deep fried seafood. The atmosphere is rounded out with live jazz and Abita Beer (including Purple Haze!)
Along with the southern creole charm comes the southern creole pace. Take the speed of life in Seattle, and recalibrate to about half the speed. Be prepared for a leisurely lunch, even when the restaurant isn't busy.
