The bar is worth the wait but the food is awful by comparison. I've almost been thrown out of this place on a few occassions. There is no better place for a manhatten. If you're lucky, it'll be made and served by my favorite, gruff, lady bartender. Her attitude really makes this place shine for me.

I adore Von's, it is my favorite place to stop for a cocktail break while shopping downtown.

good interesting food, great (strong) drinks and interesting stuff to look at on the walls

And a big wheel you can spin with great happy hour specials.
