from Palace Kitchen
Palace Kitchen, Tom and Jackie's popular third restaurant, opened right under the monorail at 5th and Lenora in the spring of 1996.As much a bar as a restaurant, Palace Kitchen features an enormous horseshoe-shaped bar, Italian chandeliers, lush velvet drapes, and gilded mirrors, as well as a 10' by 40' painting, Palace Feast, and an intimate private dining room. Nightly rotisserie specials turn over an applewood fire, and the big-flavored menu features a lengthy list of appetizers. Palace Kitchen was nominated for Best New Restaura
wiki description
Palace Kitchen is one of the restaurants operated by chef Tom Douglas. Palace offers a full bar and rotating menu with a few classic items (like the Enormous Garlic Crouton with Romaine Lettuce and the Palace Burger Royale with "nearly traditional accompaniments"). Late night dining is available through 1:00AM (Palace closes at 2AM), and a rotating "breakfast for dinner" menu option is available starting at 10AM. Palace doesn't take reservations, except for groups of 6 or more. On a Friday or Saturday night, Palace frequently has a wait. But if you come early or late or on other nights, it usually easy to get quick seating.
